Root Canal Therapy is
the treatment of choice for abscessed teeth. In contrast to popular belief, root canal treatment usually involves only little or no pain. The pain is alleviated by a small dose of pain medicine and antibiotics. We do root canals usually in one appointment, reducing the amount of time and discomfort to the patient.

According to statistics, three-quarter of the American population suffers from some sort of gum disease. It is the number one cause of tooth loss for adults in this country. Gum disease has been linked to heart disease, making it a significant risk for heart attacks. Treatment involves several appointments of scaling (deep cleaning) along with home care by the patient. In some cases, patients are referred to the specialist for surgery. Treatment of gum disease is a lifetime process, which involves good oral hygiene habits along with frequent professional cleanings after the initial treatment.

Quite a few people suffer from bad breath. They may or may not be aware of the condition. Our office provides a variety of treatments as needed for this socially unpleasant situation.


We love children. It is a great pleasure to treat a youngster in our practice and we pay special attention to them. As a rule, we will treat them as long and as much as they allow us. If they feel too much anxiety or apprehension, we will refer them to a specialist - just to make sure that we do not create an unpleasant memory in their mind, preventing them from seeking regular dental care in later life.
